FASHION INSPIRATION: MILEY CYRUS

So here's your guide to how you can dress just like Miley or use her outfits for fashion inspiration.

Miley is really practical when it comes to clothes. She doesn't go crazy looking for complicated looks because she prefers outfits that are simple and comfy.

Once again, let's start with some jeans, something every girl needs in her closet because they go with everything. Miley has a ton of jeans and wears them in every style, from country girl to rock chick.

She also likes basics tees, patterned tops, and strappy tanks - snap some of these up to copy Miley's look.

And then top off your look with rings, bracelets, and necklaces that are hippy-chic. Try out long necklaces made of glass beads, leather or string bracelets, and giant rings with big stones. Basically, everything shiny with a tribal vibe is great for a Miley-inspired look.

Oh, and one last thing - Miley almost never leaves the house without painting her nails in her favorite colors, red or turquoise.

SPRING TREND: COLORED DENIM

Colored denim is one of the big trends for spring 2012.

It’s the perfect way to make a colorful style statement! Because the jeans are so daring, you can start by trying them out with a simple and cute black or white tee. Then, start trying them out with all your favorite tops.

LEOPARD FACEOFF

Emma and Ashley both accessorized their cold weather attire with leopard coats.

Emma was seen all bundled up in her coat which was draped over some skinny leather pants. She used her coat as the statement piece of her look, because all of her other accessories are all black, making the leopard print really pop.

Ashley went the opposite direction using her coat to emphasize her bright red top and leather skirt.

CREATIVE TEENS MAKE PROM DRESSES OUT OF TRASH

These dresses are pretty unique and cute. They’re the winning gowns for the “Trashy Fashion Show.”

Designers were challenged to create a dress out of trash material. Teens swept all the categories in the contest!

The left-hand dress is worn by Analise Barnard, who made the white creation out of coffee filters – even the headband!

The middle dress is Masha Sardari, who made her tea-length dress out of paintbrushes and paper bags!

And the one on the right  is 15-year-old Kennedy Trugter’s design. Her whole dress is made out of newspaper.

Congrats to these super creative girls!

EMMA ROBERTS’ FASHION TIPS – COMFORT OVER COOL

Emma Roberts always looks put-together but also comfortable…so how does she do it?

Emma explained that the most important thing is never to wear things that make you feel uncomfortable. She said “When you’re going out at night, be comfortable. […] I never wear a heel, I always wear like an ankle boot or knee high boot or just flats because I know by 9 o-clock I’m going to want to go to bed if I’m in stilettos.”

Even though Emma’s talking about going out at night, these tips definitely apply for going to school as well. Who wants to be hobbling by second period?

Heels may look pretty, but Emma shows you can look super stylish wearingflats or boots.

ANNASOPHIA ROBB: CUTER WITH CURLY OR STRAIGHT HAIR?

Carie Bradshaw is known for rocking her mane of curly blonde hair, and now AnnaSophia Robb gets to try out this look.

he's normally got straight or wavy hair, so this is a pretty big change for her.

Obviously, both ways look good on her, but we're digging her new 80s mane of hair because it's so much fun. What do you guys think?

TRICKS FOR PULLING OFF THE CROP TOP TREND

Crop tops are a tricky trend to wear, but anybody can pull one off. Here’s how to do it.

1. Wear a loose top and a skirt that’s full and high-waisted that meet in the middle.
2. Choose a longer crop top and pair it with high-rise shorts
3. Look for a crop top with fringe, so it doesn’t show too much.

And avoid these things at all costs:

1. Have a large gap between your crop top and bottoms.
2. Rock a crop top with low-rise shorts – it’s too much skin.
3. Pair a fringed crop top with bottoms that are shorter than the fringe.

WHO WORE IT BETTER: KATY PERRY VS. LADY GAGA

Last year at the MTV VMAs, Lady Gaga wore a stunning silver dress made out of tons of little metallic squares. She also rocked matching blue lipstick and heavy eyeliner.
Katy’s dress was really similar to Lady Gaga’s look, but her dress was a shorter, shinier version. Katy also combined her dress with something blue – her new blue hair, of course!
Only divas like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga can pull off these galactic gowns!

HOTTEST SPRING TREND: NEON

 This trend is great for the spring or summer because these colors look great on sunny blue-skied days and on the beach. But you have to be careful when you combine neon clothes so that you don’t blind people!

You could try out some shorts like in the photo with a white tee and neon sandals. Or you could wear jeans, a black shirt, and rock neon accessories – a watch, some bracelets, and a bag. The key is to combine neutral tones with the neon.

But like always, everybody has their own unique style. If you really love this style, you could dress in head-to-toe in neon. You’ll definitely turn some heads!

DEMI'S NO-MAKEUP LOOK

Demi Lovato likes wearing heavy eye makeup, blush, and lots of red lipstick. Want to see what she looks like bare-faced?


 She's not wearing any makeup, which is quite a change from her usual look. We usually see her with a whole face of makeup. Of course, Demi looks pretty with her red-carpet makeup on, but she looks great without any of it on as well. She's got gorgeous skin and amazingly red lips.

TREND ALERT: ASYMMETRICAL SKIRTS

 




Asymmetrical skirts and dresses are ones that are hemmed short in the front and gradually become longer in the back.

You can layer this look with fitted or loose shirts, and the best part about it being short in the front is that you can show off your favorite pair of cute shoes!

FASHION FACEOFF: DEBBY RYAN VS. BELLA THORNE IN BLUE

Debby chose a short blue dress with a sheer flowery top part. The same fabric was layered on the skirt of her dress. She defined her waist with a matching brown belt, and added brown and blue shoes. Her hair was in loose curls, and she kept her makeup really simple and sweet.

Bella opted for a dramatic floor-length gown in blue and black. She also went for a cinched-in waist look, and left her hair, makeup, and accessories simple. If you look closely, you might be able to see the neon manicure she’s rocking – right on trend for spring.

Debby and Bella both look absolutely beautiful! Whose look would you rather wear?

FASHION INSPIRATION: DEBBY RYAN

Debby looooves colors and fun prints, so her looks are always fun and fresh.

What are her closet staples? Dresses, jean jackets, and boots. These three basics are a perfect base for getting Debby’s look.

She loves to wear short dresses that are cinched in at the waist with loose skirts. She likes to wears tall boots with her dresses to give them a more informal look. Debby finishes off her look with a jean jacket – they’re perfect for spring.

Apart from dresses, Debby also likes jeans and skinny pants in bright colors. She waers these with long tops and adds wide belts to define her waist.

She also likes wide tops. She doesn’t really wear super tight, short shirts – she prefers tops that are a little baggier that skim her stomach to show off her figure (that’s a trick to keep in mind).

We said that Debby likes boots, but they’re not the only shoes she wears. She also likes sneakers, ballet flats, and high heels! But she only rocks heels for parties and special events.

To finish off your Debby-inspired look, you’ll need some accessories. Try necklaces with big charms, gold bracelets, oversized sunglasses, hats for a chic touch, necklaces, scarves, and bags with studs and fringe.

MIRANDA COSGROVE’S TIPS FOR TAKING CARE OF YOUR SKIN IN THE SUN

Lots of girls like to spend time outside in the spring and summer to get tanned, but tanning can be really dangerous.

So here’s what Miranda Cosgrove recommends you do so your skin stays healthy.

1. Put travel-sized sunscreen in your purse so you always have it.
2. Buy a cute hat with a wide brim that looks stylish and protects you.
3. Remember that there is no healthy tan – it’s all skin damage.
4. Pick the type of sunscreen you like best (a cream, a lotion, a spray, etc.)
5. Skip the tanning bed and use sunless tannerinstead.
6. Shop for clothing that’ll protect you from the sun.
7. Always put on sunscreen – you get 85% of sun exposure just from being in the car!
8. Swap out your moisturizer or foundation for one with an SPF.
9. Get a friend to help you check your skin for moles in spots like your back.
10. Wear sunscreen even if it’s cloudy – you may not be able to see the sun, but it’s definitely there.

These are super easy tips you can incorporate into your daily routine. Trust Miranda – her skin looks great and, more importantly, healthy.

FASHION FACEOFF: JENNIFER LAWRENCE VS. RIHANNA

Jennifer Lawrence and Rihanna have totally different styles, but they were both spotted trying out the jumpsuit trend.

Both girls opted for long, chic jumpsuits, but each girl gave it her own touch.

Jennifer chose a jumpsuit with sheer sleeves, and added a dangling necklace and metallic peep-toe high heels to her look. She left her hair in loose waves, and wore dramatic eyeliner.

Rihanna went for a more glamorous look for her one-piece. She had on simple high-heeled sandals and pretty red lips. RiRi also swept her hair up into a dramatic updo with her bangs falling over her face.

Jen and RiRi both rock this tricky trend, but whose look do you like better? Would you ever wear a jumpsuit?

BEST-DRESSED CELEBS: “PRETTY LITTLE LIARS” ACTRESSES

 Shay Mitchell, Sasha Pieterse, and Janel Parrish were all invited to the premiere of the new superhero movie The Avengers. They all looked stunning!

Shay chose a black dress with a very plunging neckline – it was very low-cut and outlined in sequins. With such an eye-catching dress, she kept her makeup and accessories simple. Shay left her glossy hair down.

Sasha wore a daring fashion-forward black gown. The dress was a simple black sheath with a patterned peplum skirt on top. She wore T-strap heels and like Shay, went for simple chic makeup that wouldn’t compete with her dress.

Janel went for a really glamorous look with a skin-tight red dress. She matched her lipstick to her dress and added heavy eye makeup and dramatic earrings. For footwear, she chose some black ankle booties to add a funky touch to the outfit.

All three girls looked great, but whose look is your favorite? We really liked Janel’s outfit – the red looks so pretty with her hair!

Simple cutouts are a classy way of giving any dress a little dose of sass! This is an interesting, chic, and modern trend that you can pull off without pushing dress code.

The star was seen in Hollywood at the premiere of The Lucky One. The movie stars Zac Efron who Ashley has been friends since they were in High School Musicaltogether.

Vests Back In Fashion!

Celebs like Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, and Selena Gomez have all beenseen wearing this cute trend.

If you don’t have a vest in your closet, you might want to think about looking for one. Lately, tons of celebs have been spotted wearing them!

The best thing about vests is they’re easy to wear and you can style them however you want. Check out what these celebs are wearing for an idea 

Ashley Tisdale’s rock look and Vanessa Hudgens’ hippy styles are totally different.

You could also try wearing a vest over a flowy top, like Demi Lovato did. Or if you want to wear denim head-to-toe, pair a denim vest with shorts like Selena Gomez.

If you’re not sure how to wear one, try copying Kim Kardashian’s simple look. Just wear leggings, boots, and a tee, and add a vest to give your casual outfit a cool touch.

DAKOTA’S DARING FASHION STATEMENT

Dakota Fanning went to a fancy magazine party this week forVanity Fair in honor of a film festival, and so she dressed to impress.

She wore a pretty pink dress with a bubble skirt and thin spaghetti straps. Then, she added dark gold, almost brown accessories to go with her dress.

Dakota took a fashion risk with her headband, which she wore across the front of her hair instead of using it to push her hair back.

SPRING TREND: MUSIC FESTIVAL STYLE

Get inspired by Katy, Rihanna, Vanessa, and more for the perfect rock chick outfit.

Coachella Music Festival was over the weekend in southern California, and tons of celebs were there rocking wild looks.

Katy Perry wore a tight floral-print dress and ripped tights. The bright colors of her dress really showed off her new purple hair.

Emma Roberts, Rihanna, and Vanessa Hudgens all went for belly-baring tops. Emma R. wore a black lace crop top and loose patterned pants, topped off with a cool had, sunglasses, and piled-on jewelry. RiRi let her rock star side show with some seriously edgy spiked shorts, a bra top, and a gold necklace. And Vanessachose a hippy-inspired look, wearing a ruffly crop top, flowy cardigan, denim shorts, cowboy boots, and a flower headband.

Nina Dobrev’s look was simple and pretty. She wore a red dress with a single strand gold necklace and cinched in her waist with a big belt. She finished off her look with messy hair and big gold earrings.

And Emma Watson wore a tiger-print minidress, which she accessorized like Nina with a cool belt and a simple necklace. She layered with a cardigan, and added a floppy hat for sun protection.

Maybe you can try one of these out for the next time you go to a concert. You can also use them as inspiration to get a laid-back hippy-rock chick vibe.  Here are some pointers for getting this style:

Katy Perry´s Crazy Hair In Fashion!

Katy Perry just changed her hair again for the millionth time! Check out herlatest looks over the past year.
Over the last year, she’s been seen with at least six different hair colors – pink, blonde, blue, purple, black…

Up until last June, she had black hair. Then she dyed itginger so she could transition to her next look...blonde! She had golden looks right up until August, and then she chose hot pink.

In December, she went back to blonde but streaked it with pale pink. Right after her breakup with Russell, she dyed her hair bright blue. And this week, she debuted her new purple look.
