Bridgit Mendler stars on Good Luck Charlie, but did you know that she can sing as well as act?
Here's what Bridgit had to say about her new music career:
On her new single:“It's about self-confidence. I thoguht it was a great introduction song. It represents the style of my album in a good way and sends a fun message – it's kind of all about girl power!”
On writing songs to deal with problems: “Songwriting is actually a really great outlet for me and I kind of recommend it, because it's an awesome form of a diary and you get to sum it up in a song, then perform it really passionately.”
On whether or album will surprise fans: “Each song is pretty unique and has its own style and inspiration, so hopefully people will enjoy the diversity.”
On getting revenge on exes: “I’m not the revenge type, but in [“I Forgot to Laugh”] the girl has a lot of unresolved issues with this guy and she wants him to get a flat tire and get stranded! I wrote that song intending it to be really sassy.”
Here's one fun fact about her upcoming album -Bridgit co-wrote every single song on there!
