Miley Cyrus just debuted her new shockingly short haircut, and it quickly made headlines.
But why did the star choose to chop off her locks?
She also posted “LOVE my hair. Feel so happy, pretty, and free, ”“feeling so happy in my skin,” and "Never felt more me in my whole life."
Miley also defended herself from the haters just before she chopped off her hair: “If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head, no one else's, and it's going bye bye :)”
There's a rumor going around that Miley donated her hair, but the star hasn't said anything about it. Some people have said it's true, while others say it's impossible as she didn't meet the requirements to donate hair (hair has to be a certain length and can't be dyed).
