Liam can't help but feel responsible for all the online haters who attack the girlfriends of the One Direction boys.
Zayn’s girlfriend Perrie Edwards seems to get the most hate, often being accused of “using” him, but she's not the only one. Liam's girl Danielle Peazer also gets accused of trying to use her guy for fame, and Louis's girlfriend Eleanor Calder gets messages about her “fake” relationship.
The endless nasty messages actually drove Zayn to quit Twitter earlier this week, although he's back now.
"You don’t want to see anybody go through that,"Liam said.
“Danielle went through a stage where things really got to her. It upset her family and I felt like I was to blame. People can be very quick to say things on the computer, but they don’t realise what it can actually do.” So true, Liam.
Louis's girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, has also had to deal with an enormous amount of twitter hate.
Liam went on to say "I think if they’re a fan of ours, then they should be respectful of our actions,” he said. “To be honest the majority are.”
Those who find it necessary to bully the loved ones of 1D should know that it's not gonna help them win the favor of the boys. Those are the kind of fans Liam and Louis (and most likely the rest of the guys) don't want to have.
